The seasonal efficiency of processing the results, the case of existing gravity thickener, larger particles are well settled and contains fine particles floating in nature effluent water is being discharged. Thus, the relatively low density particles for the treatment of secondary treatment of effluent water when you do, DAF will result in a higher processing efficiency. In winter and early spring, a lot of scum on the surface gravitythickener occurs. In this case, DAF basin to the scum that can be processed by flotation has the advantage. In general, the filter needs backwashing. Secondary treatment of effluent water using DAF, however, the filter does not require backwashing. In addition, the compact process can be constructed. Therefore, secondary treatment facilities for the installation of water treatment plant on the grounds of lack of space could be applied as an alternative. DAF sludge generated by the process, the moisture content low without additional thickening handled directly by the dewatering facility will be possible. |
