The Ministry of Environment(MOE) has determined to adopt a new policy mandatesmunicipalities to change the paradigm, which is the Sewage Treatment Plants(STPs) facilities consumethe high energy during sewage collection and treatment. As a economic-environmental point of view,the term of 'Energy Independent Master Plan' implies that some STPs need to be improved toperform a better energy saving and self-energy production with less cost and less energy consumption.Low energy and process optimization system based on the smart air-quantity control system wasdeveloped. It was composed of a real-time influent analysis and effluent simulation techniques. Theresult of field-application for the smart air-quantity control system, electric power was saved 15kW ~37kW, and saved 7.6 ~ 18,8 million won compared of conventional non-air-quantity control system. |
