The deterioration of water in water distribution networks forces water utilities to investtheir capital budgets in the renewal of pipe systems and in the reduction of non-revenue water.Moreover, growing customer expectations call for a continuous water supply and high-quality tapwater. In this study, an integrated system for supporting the efficient evaluation and operation of waterdistribution networks is built using information and communication technology. The developed systemconsists of a performance evaluation module that provides functions related to hydraulic, water quality,and structural measures, as well as an operation module that provides functions related to real-timehydraulic analysis, water quantity and quality management, energy management, and risk management.The developed system is successfully implemented in two distribution systems in Geoje and Jeongup inKorea.
