Spatial-temporal runoff patterns change of dissolved organic matter(DOM) fluorescence characteristics atinflowing stream of industrial(4TG), urban(AS), and rural(MS) areas in Lake Sihwa. The result of synchronousanalysis in 4TG, PLF(Protein-like fluorescence) variation characteristics clearly appeared while no clear peaksappeared in the FLF(Fulvic-like fluorescence) and HLF(Humic-like fluorescence) wavelength ranges. The results ofanalysis using 3D-EEMs(3-Dimensional Excitation Emission Matrix Spectroscopy) showed a difference thatfluorescence distribution and variation clearly appeared in the FLF and HLF regions along with the PLF region andDOM variation over time tended to be similar between the results of the two fluorescence analyses. The results ofsynchronous analysis in AS showed that PLF, FLF and THLF(Terrestrial-like fluorescence) region peaks were clearerduring rainfall than when there was before rainfall. AS showed a distribution characteristics that PLF characteristicsdid not disappear even during rainfall but continuously appeared during the duration of rainfall. The spatial-temporalDOM variation and distribution characteristics during rainfall appeared through the synchronous method and the3D-EEMs method showed similar tendencies although in the results of 3D-EEMs analysis. A characteristic that PeakA region fluorescence intensity did not decrease during the duration of rainfall but maintained at least a certain rangeof fluorescence intensity and spatial-temporal changes in the HLF region clearly appeared. The results ofsynchronous analysis over time during rainfall in MS did not show great changes in PLF and FLF concentrationswhile showing a regional characteristic that fluorescence intensity changes over time in the THLF region increasedgreatly. The results of 3D-EEMs analysis, the Peak C region showed a characteristic of gradually decreasingfluorescence intensity over time while the Peak A region continuously showed |
