Customer complaints particulates that sometimes discoloration, taste and odor bring the distrust of tap water and the low drinking rate of clean water. Such particulate materials are often characterized as either external sources or from processes occurring within the system (Vreeburg, 2007; Peng et al., 2010). It is critical in practice for water utilities to investigate particle sources for managing customer perception. In this research, a systematic method combined with qualitative and quantitative analysis of compounds and elements is presented with collected data sets of particulates complaints.
