The frequency of natural disasters around the world are increasing because of abnormal weather conditions. In November 2015, severe drought emerged in Korea. To overcome the drought, K-water and governments put various efforts, pushed forward with four different policy directions; state-driven policies, market-oriented policies, governance and community participation including securing alternative water sources. |
