As a partial result of international project in collaboration with K-water (Korea Water Resources Corporation), IWRA (International Water Resources Association) and AWC (Asia Water Council) to develop a global standard and certification scheme on Smart Water City in line with the function of urban water cycle, this study first briefly introduces this collaboration project and then explains the three pillars of future smart water city global standards to be developed at phase 2. Basically this paper shows the summary of the first report by K-water, IWRA and AWC (2021) available at iwra.org/swc-project-phase1-report.
