In the rapidly advancing field of water technology, a systematic and strategic approach utilizing various
technologies is curcial. In this study, we use Natural Language Processing (NLP) to analyze and predict
technology trends in the water field based on data from IP5 countries (South Korea, China, Japan, the United
States, and Europe). To do so, we use Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for topic modeling and KeyBERT
for keyword extraction to provide a detailed comparison of technology trends and their underlying factors.
Our findings highlight distinct focuses and commonalities in water technology development across countries,
offering valuable insights for future research and policy formulation.
